The illegal labor force is a goldmine for Big Agriculture and other businesses. It's worth billions in profit. The last president who seriously tried to stem illegal immigration was Eisenhower, and the governors of Texas, California, and Arizona handed him his head.

Neither party has put a dent in illegal immigration and neither party is going to. Whichever party is in office is going to pontificate, blame the other party, and leave it just as it is....they way both parties have been doing since Eisenhower. Very wealthy men are making too much money from it.

President Bush did not give them stays of deportation by EO nor did he instruct Homeland Security not do deport them unless they are "convicted" criminals.

All humans originated in Africa and spread out all over the planet eventually. So migrating here from Asia makes one native to this country/continent? I don't think so!

Better to do nothing than to give them some kind of temporary legal status and shield them from deportation as Obama did along with work permits.

Reagan handed out more amnesty cards than anyone.

Obama has deported more than any president since Eisenhower.

There has been no consistent partisan direction with illegal labor and there won't be.

I respect American indians, I really do. They did suffer a lot.

But here is the deal. In the extremely unlikely event that any particular Indian can show that he personally is the rightful heir of a particular Indian who was wrongfully dispossessed of a particular piece of property, the current occupants should hand him the keys to his birthright and vacate the premises. Otherwise the current occupants have the morally strongest claim to their property, and the status quo should continue. Anything more is just the doctrine of collective guilt masquerading as a defense of property rights.

So America belongs to the Americans. Border, language, and culture, there you have a country.

Reagan lived to regret it as the Democratically controlled congress was supposed to secure the border but they didn't. He also thought an amnesty would only be for 300,000 illegals when 3 million came forward for it. He also said that would be the last amnesty and here we go again except this time around we have at least quadruple the number of illegal aliens.

No, Obama has not deported more illegals. He admitted himself that what was counted are those who were turned around at the border. He won't allow any illegals to be deported unless they are "convicted" criminals. He gave millions of them a stay of deportation via DACA and DAPA along with work permits. His deportation record is dismal.

Something is going to be done about illegal immigration in the not too distant future as it is breaking the bank. No amount of corporate pandering is going to stop it either.

Also Europeans migrated to Siberia and mixed with E. Asian and then on to the Americas. Amerindians have up to a third European ancestry. DNA links Native Americans with Europeans | ScienceNordic

Quote:
A Danish-led international research team has mapped the hitherto oldest genome of an anatomically modern human: the genome of a boy buried at Mal’ta near Lake Baikal in south-central Siberia some 24,000 years ago.
Surprisingly, the genetic material reveals that the boy was European, which means that a European culture reached all the way east to Lake Baikal.
The really sensational news, however, is that a large proportion (about a third) of all living Native Americans are descendants of the Mal’ta people. In other words, Native Americans have partly European ancestry.
Since Amerindians have been in the Americas beginning over 15,000 years ago, I considered direct descendants to be semi-Indigenous separate race/ethnicity from E. Asians and European. I don't agree necessarily that "we all originated in Africa" or that AMH did but I agree with Old Glory otherwise.
