It is important to note that Trump is not talking about detaining/deporting all illegals. He is talking about the 3 million or so CRIMINAL illegals.
What the sanctuary cities are refusing to do is DETAIN the criminal illegals. For that, the cities could (and should) have their funding cut and possibly face charges of obstruction of justice.
All this aside, these cities refusing to detain criminal illegals are not doing themselves any favors. They are putting their own citizens at risk and have absolutely nothing to gain. - First deport all CRIMINAL illegals in non-sanctuary cities.
- Then determine an action plan to deport all CRIMINAL illegals in Sanctuary Cities. (Using one or more of the ideas mentioned on the previous 5 pages.)
This will take care of 3 million Criminal Illegal people who are a threat to law abiding citizens and are a drain on our economy. There is NO reason to allow them to stay in our country.
- Simultaneously concentrate on finding any Illegal Alien who has ever clicked on an ISIS website. Determine the threat (if any) by Scrubbing them thoroughly....& deport them if there is the slightest chance that there a threat.
- & allow ZERO male Islamic refugees (over the age of 12) into the US from any country that Islamic Terrorism is a being allowed or is being carried out.
Once these items are tended to, we might not even need to take action against other Illegal Aliens. (except for deporting any new ones that become "criminals").

She said the same as Obama, that the focus should be on deporting criminal illegals, which is of course what Trump's new version also says.
First, let us learn from the mistakes made in Europe as they grapple with their own refugee disaster.

Trump must make it clear, by way of legislative action, for cities to continue to harbor and abet known illegal criminal aliens carries an equal charge to an individual engaged in harboring and concealing a fugitive or a person evading arrest for their criminal activities. These such cities will receive reduced subsidies for all social programs until such time as they comply with federal laws.
Just to see Rahm Emmanuel in Chicago, take the position of social champion , all the while his inner city is in a state of war among the minorities there , is quite disturbing.
