Correct. He left after spending 8 years strengthening the GOP, at all levels of government.
Nonsense.
Obama OWNED the GOP. It's not his fault that the party apparatus couldn't capitalize on his GOP beatdowns. Obama should be charged with child abuse the way he slapped and punked the Republican Party. They hadn't been treated that badly since LBJ used them as piñatas back in the 60's.
We don't know if this was a tax break but things like this can get messy when states go out of their way to tilt the field. NAFTA, WTO have their rules.
Quote:
The World Trade Organization ruled on Monday that a tax break from Washington State to help Boeing develop its new 777X jetliner was a prohibited subsidy. The ruling was a setback for the aerospace giant as it seeks victory in a parallel case against its European rival, Airbus.
The trade organization said the subsidy came in the form of a renewed cut in Washington State’s main business tax for aerospace. The state agreed to the tax cut in 2013, when Boeing was considering where to assemble the latest member of its long-haul jet family.
It is the third time that taxpayer support for Boeing or Airbus has been faulted by the World Trade Organization in a trans-Atlantic trade spat dating back 12 years and involving mutual accusations of tens of billions of dollars of aid.

How did that work out for him? What's your opinion on Trump now being able to swing the Supreme Court into his making?

Those like myself are pleased to say "Eff NAFTA". Whether I agree with what went on here or not, If it runs counter to NAFTA I hope Trump tells them to screw off.
Same as it ever was. (and he has no actual appointments yet)
