Good job?
He popular for several reasons much of which has to do with following the worst president in the last 50 years and stabilizing the country/economy despite being handed a sinking ship. He is leaving a very healthy economy and stable foreign policy to his successor.

As for bombing, he minimized the cost in money and human lives of wars that were already involved in (imagine 15 + years of war in Iraq and Afghanistan and still continuing).

Obama exposed divisions already present in the country - one's that have now lead to the most divisive President-elect in modern times.

More rightist propaganda about selling influence - how about proof in a court of law - is that no longer important to some in this country ? We are innocent until proven guilty. Despite numerous politically motivated investigations (over many years) not a single conviction. Time to forget about the Clintons.

BTW - Obama should shut his pie hole and let go of the controls.

No President has ever lost the popular vote to the degree that Trump did.

He is President to less than half the country.

Obama campaigned on bringing the country together.
He accomplished the exact opposite. He NEVER worked with the republicans (and we can give Bill Clinton some credit here, because he did exactly that). Obama jammed the health care bill through without working with anyone. He demonized everyone who didn't agree with him, insinuated racism at every turn. Demonized the police. Racial relations are worse then before he took office.
Obama clearly underestimated white nationalistic views within a large percentage of Americans. He faced off against everything from a racist birther movement to the top strategy in congress being making him a one term president. He hoped but he also ran into reality.. We all know what this country's foundation was built on...

Keep telling yourself that.

I have a friend who believes Auburn should be playing for the national championship.

He can dig a hole with the best of them.

Perfect description but, when did the topic switch to Trump?

1) He told everyone that he was going to fundamentally change America. His legacy is:

-A health care bill modest is scope, disastrous in execution, and fleeting in longevity, since it is about to be repealled.

-The total ceding of the world to Islmacists, Russia and China. (Wow, 4000,000 dead in Syria! good job "leading from behind" or whatever!).

-The over regulation of Dodd-Frank, which will also probably be repealled or modified.

-The strengthening of unilateral action through executive orders, which is only going to help Trump now (we warned him too!).

2) He wove the narrative of a new, inassailable Democratic coalition based on changing demographics, and his legacy is:

- His succesor could not grab the brass ring and was defeated by (another) political novice.
- The Senate remains Republican and will do so for at least another four years
-The House Remains Republican and will probably be so for at least another 6-8 years
- There will not be a liberal Supreme Court in my lifetime
- 66 of 99 State legislatures are Repubican
- 33 of 50 governorships are Republican.

3) He bragged about the ecomony, but his legacy of enemic growth and bogus employment numbers has caused:

-The rise of the populist right in Donald Trump
- The rise of the Socialist left in Bernie Sanders

Why doesn't he just shut up? We don't need to hear him cry about everyone and everything else when he has the lion's share of the blame. If he's mad about Russia, then he whould have listened when Mitt Romney told him they were a threat. If he's mad about news agencies, then he should have done something to curtail the blatant cheerleading that culminated in Donna Brazil trying to rig a debate for Hillary.

Obama blew it, and no longer has the right to ***** about ANYTHING.

Discuss.
Don't be a H8er.

Now that sounds like a memo that was sent around by the birther boy himself. Was the directive to do so on an early morning tweet from Herr Twitler?

Excepting, of course, the Presidential election in 2012 as one example? I'm sure there are others....
