Clearly the solution is simple you idiots: CCW for everyone + unlimited access to automatic weapons that Obozo took away. Gun free zone = fish in a barrel zone. Gosh, why is common sense so hard to find these days?
At first I thought your post was sarcastic, but I'm not so sure. Do you actually believe everyone should have been carrying automatic weapons when they were picking up their luggage?
By the way, Obama never took away automatic weapons. They were banned in the 1930s.

Most reports say he was flying from Anchorage Alaska, not Canada.
He flew out of Anchorage on a Delta flight, over flew Canada and transferred to another Delta flight to Ft Lauderdale in Minneapolis.
It was reported very early on in this thread that Air Canada had determined he was not a passenger on one of their flights and in any case; there are no direct AC flights from Anchorage to Ft Lauderdale.
The only connection to Canada that can be found in this is Air Canada shares Terminal 2 passenger and baggage handling facilities with Delta Airlines.
He also had time to gun down 13 people in emptying both those magazines. Airports are crawling with govt goons with guns,I suspect they were hiding until he was out bullets. Never trust a cop to protect you.

Yes, he served for years in the National Guard. He reported that he was hearing voices and received treatment after returning from his deployment in the ME. He's also 26 which is the age at which people with schizophrenia begin to show symptoms. We just don't know enough about the shooter yet, but people continue to make up "facts" about him.

Mixed Hispanic? Which parent qualifies you as Hispanic? My DIL is a blue eyed blonde. Her Dad is of Italian (Sicilian) heritage and her Mom of Puerto Rican heritage. She gets her coloring from her Mom's Hispanic side, not her Dad's who is very dark. When asked, she just says she is white.

As a local who uses Ft Lauderdale airport 5-10 a year, I can assure there is plenty of security around, although not as much in the baggage claim area (which should be the least predictable place where an attack would occur). A nut-case attack like this could happen anywhere, and this time it just happened to be an airport.
