Looks like Trump's not so good at getting people to pay for all these walls he's obsessed with.
Quote:
BALMEDIE, Scotland — President-elect Donald J. Trump has already built a wall — not on the border with Mexico, but on the border of his exclusive golf course in northeastern Scotland, blocking the sea view of local residents who refused to sell their homes.
I don't think anyone expected Mexico to pay for the useless wall. A wall will not keep illegal immigrants out.
You should probably give up on this idiotic brainwashing right now. Walls are built all around the world because walls work. It is that simple.
They don't work perfectly. There are always those who find their way through, which is why is is one tool a toolbox. A long border wall in and of itself could slow illegal immigration to a level were there is parity will back migration, and then the problem is more or less 100% solved.
In conjuntion with increased border patrol, allowing the border patrol and ICE to do their jobs, a national data base, tougher laws that discipline both lawbreakers and employers, etc. The problem will be gone overnight.
The entire "it can't be done" argument is a refrain that we have heard from the left on a plethora of issues for decades now. It is the kind of pychological warfare which never really worked and had compeltely gone off the rails. You are going to have to come up with some new plays.

Haar! It's not going to be built for the same reason your immigration laws haven't been observed ...greedy Americans making a profit off cheap labour.
Senator John McCain ran up against this reality back in the good old days when the big aggra business in Arizona convinced him to "hands off" their ability to hire illegals picking stuff cheaply to offset the costs of nutrients to grow stuff in gravel.
You people are really stupid if you think Trumps going to put a spike in the spokes of the wheels that helped make him rich.
Trump has lied to, cheated, and is despised by almost everyone who has ever done business with him. That same thing is about to happen with the American people. There will be many opportunities for those of us who already can't stand him to say "I told you so". Making taxpayers foot the bill for his wall instead of Mexico is but the first.
