You cut off their flow of people, you cut off their money. Meanwhile, the government has to pay to educate, feed and house the American-born children of these illegal immigrants. You think Jose the day laborer adds enough value to the economy to make up for the 10k per year, PER CHILD that it costs the tax payer to educate a kid in public school?

Honestly, Jesus is a great philosopher for ordering your personal life, but a TERRIBLE way to make pragmatic policy for the nation. Luckily, the Catholic church of the past had a penchant for ignoring the hippie Jesus.

(Otherwise they would have "turned the other cheek" as successive waves of Islamic invasion hit the European continent over the centuries.)
very good points. the catholic church is basically being subsidized not only by their tax exempt status but by the welfare system that's in place to accommodate the illegal aliens.
