Great deflection, although it is getting a trifle stale these days... hint: the election is over... even though mr stinky fingers grab-em is going to be the embarrassment-in-chief for a while.

Yeah, and I sure do enjoy having the Viagra on my plan, even though I'm not a male. And, they really should remove any contraceptives from the plan - as long as they remove the ED medications, too.<more sarcasm>

ETA: actually, I believe that until fairly recently, if someone has only single coverage, they didn't have maternity care on their plan. So, if someone got pregnant, it was a pre-existing condition and they couldn'g GET maternity care. I remember a friend of mine, who had single plan through her employer, and her husband also had a single plan with a different employer - because it was cheaper that way for them - being shocked and dismayed to find out she wasn't covered on either plan and they had to pay for the maternity care out of pocket.

It's so tremendous the general public isn't bigly enough to see it.

Ya got a pre-existing condition but still able to work? Get a job with health insurance like most of us Americans do.

Can't work? Check out Medicare.

You can also purchase cancer and other types of insurance relatively cheaply.
No, it was a way to add common sense provisions to insurance plans and still allow healthcare execs to still get their bonuses and shareholders to still profit.

Healthcare reform doesn't happen till the healthcare lobby goes away. Obamacare just added scraps for the rest of us and some of those scraps were steaks.

What if you aren't married? What if your job has no health care? What if your job has a one year waiting period for healthcare - that happened to me too.

Here is how it'll go.

The republicans will say all Americans can get healthcare through their jobs. One they have jobs with no healthcare, they'll blame Obama for the healthcare-less jobs.

There goes entrepreneurship. Today's pimple-faced coder in the basement, gets an angel round of funding, takes on employees and they don't have employer sponsored healthcare. That doesn't show up until 10-20 employees. At that size anyone with an expensive condition could put the employer on precarious ground so they fire that employee. At will employment after all. Wow great plan there.

What a stupidly simplistic response. Many industries have moved from having employees to hiring independent contractors so they don't have to provide insurance. And many smaller employers can't afford to provide health insurance. And then there are the millions of self-employed and small business owners. Not everyone has the opportunity to work for a company that "heavily subsidizes their healthcare." In fact, that is becoming less and less the case as time goes on.

But I guess they are just out of luck, huh? They should just shut up, hope they don't get sick, and die quickly and quietly if they do? That's pretty much what you're telling us here.

Republicans don't want you to use contraceptives or have an abortion. They want you to keep you poor and burdened with a bunch of kids. Are they going to help pay for childcare? No, not even that. Your're on your own....
