Instead of insults, QE, why not discuss what was said?
tiny is right. People need to stop acting as if CNN, CNBC and ABC are the only ones at these press conferences. They aren't. There are many different media types there from international outlets to single guy writing a blog out of his house.

Reason: Typo, corrected NBC in first row

Thank you for the list. It looks like a good mix of outlets that one could use to gain a balanced perspective on the day to day of White House.
This is an interesting look at the press corps too:
I've been googling several of the agencies unfamiliar to me, and there were some surprises. The Washington Times is particularly interesting. Check out who owns it and follow the connections. Now I understand the backstory for Helen Thomas' departure from UPI for Hearst. Fascinating stuff.
He is doing it exactly right. Trump does not need the Press. They need him. He got this far with them against him, so why does he need them now? Now is the time to really pissthem off, since New Polls say that over 70% of the Public have a low opinion of them. With those approval Numbers, Trump can kick them around like tin cans, and his supporters will cheer him on, as they are doing now, and the rest of the Public will say that they deserve it. .
The media undoubtedly had much much more influence on the election in Hillary's favor than Russia could have ever had in Trump's. It was a complete media blitz after Trump denounced them in the summer of 2015. They did EVERYTHING within their power to try and stop him, and history will remember that.
This is just fiction, on the other hand did you take issue with the republican congress that did exactly what you are complaining about for 8 years.
Why in God's name do you people have to bring up Hillary every time we are talking about Trump? Like seriously, every single time.
Trump had rallies where the press was penned into what amounted to a cage, not allowed to ask him questions, etc. He had few press conferences and waited 167 days after being elected to talk to the press.
I'm not spreading anything fake. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its fake. Just because you don't understand the ramifications of actions doesn't make news of those actions fake.
And how many days did Hillary wait? How 'bout that rope line or doing everything in her power to dodge being asked ANY questions?
How about Obama dodging interviews with a major news network throughout his entire term? HE didn't like them so he refused to talk to them (same with Hillary btw) but THAT is ok because it's YOUR team right?
Ideologue hat doesn't look good on you at this point...

Ignorance/assumption hat doesn't look good on you. Go right ahead and check my posting history re: HRC dodging press conferences and Obama's treatment of the media.
They have to make room for the Favored Press. Guess Breitbart and Fox News will be Herr Trump's go-to news outlets.
He needs media that doesn't question the master and releases the news they are told to release. I.e., propaganda and yes men (if they are not sycophantic enough, Hannity will 'train' them.)
