Earth has responded...

There are so many people I want to thank. I hope I don't forget anyone. (begins to tear up) Of course, Africa. Thank you. It's always hot there. Umm...the sun. You've been with me since the beginning. (takes a deep breath) Scientists! Without you guys making these claims I wouldn't be here. Even though you can't tell folks what the weather will be like tomorrow you say you know the temperatures from millions of years ago. I thank you all. Let's do it all again next year! (exit music plays as earth walks off stage)
Very accurate records sine the 1800's but depending on the research geology, ice cores go back millions of years.
How accurate are the records for the earths temperature as a whole? Even in the current year I don't see how you can really get an accurate measure of that number.
BTW I do believe the earth is in a warming trend. Has been for a long time.
My questions are how much of it is man made and what are the changes proposes at the different conventions going to do to counteract it. I think it will do very little to change what is happening.
Final point if all the people attending those accords flying in on their private jets and spending time in hotels with I am sure comfortable temperatures really were that concerned about the environment they would use some sort of powerful conferencing software (GOTO Meeting on steroids), stay home, save a lot of fossil fuel and spew a lot less things into the atmosphere.
Thanks for the good news OP, no wonder we have such an abundance of food.
