Sure, having an ocean to the east and west is lucky for us, but it's time to use that luck to our advantage.

So what would you recommend for a reaction if Russia went into Poland, the have already done the same for Crimea and Ukraine. Just let it go again. Poland and other countries in the NATO alliance are very worried, very different from your perspective. If they continue with their aggression should we desert the alliance and just worry about our shores while they annex countries.

Let them invade away. If they want to empty their Treasury and their children's blood in Poland and other countries, it doesn't make me want to follow suit.
Eventually, the people in those countries will bleed Russia enough so that the Russians leave.

Duh your what if situation will not happen.
Committing genocide to crack any resistance while an option will never work out - for one thing international political fallout is cataclysmic for a second Russians themselves would be sickened by such idea (slavic people fell some degree of mutual friendship not matter what their countries relations are) - so dirty solution is out.
Poland is a NATO member so all the NATO members will come to help Poland defend itself.

Russia is smart enough not to invade any NATO members, so this invasion won't happen.

I would have to agree with you there. Sad but true.
This nato buildup on Russian borders while everyone is arguing over Trump has gotten very little news. Last year a co-worker moved to Ecuador to retire I told him he was crazy he went on to tell me how he could live like a king there. Now I'm thinking he might have made a good move when the ICBMs start flying those country's will get a nice front row seat on the nukes going off here.
At least SOMEONE is giving them some assurance even if we're a little late to the party. Poland has had our back as much as they can since they joined NATO, we damn well ought to return the favor. And if Obama has managed to lead Trump by the nose into living up to our treaty obligations, then at least there's one thing he did right while otherwise leaving a trail of destruction on his way out the door.
We owe Poland absolutely NOTHING. Return the favor? The hell are you talking about? We liberated Europe. They can NEVER return that favor.
