1. Keep the nation safe.

2. Deliver on bringing back high paying jobs to America

3. Reduce the debt.

4. Provide universal health care for all..

If he accomplished all the above. Would you have a different opinion of Trump?

It would be a good start.

He'd have to do more than just those things before he gets a big thumbs up from me.

No. The reality is:

1. He has a severe personality disorder. He can't keep this nation safe; look what has already happened with Mexico, Australia, etc.

2. High paying manufacturing jobs are never coming back to America. They are being replaced with automation.

3. Getting us into a trade war with Mexico, etc. will increase the debt, not reduce it.

4. The Repubs are still trying to figure out a reasonable replacement for Obamacare, but if they don't find it, I bet Obamacare will be dismantled without it, leaving millions of Americans at the mercy of emergency rooms once again.

When will you all understand that Trump and his sycophants don't care about you? They care about big business, about whatever will make them and their rich cronies more and more money. They couldn't care less about the environment, human rights issues, our national parks, etc. It's already obvious. You bought the con.

And you think Hillary would have been different in this regard.....How?

My very conservative parents raised me to believe that it matters how you behave; its not just what you achieve, but how you achieve it.

Your list would be good accomplishments, but for my opinion of Trump to change I will have to see how he does it. So far he is not off to a good start.

Trump could deliver on all those things and be the best President ever but he is never going to be popular with the Left.

The Dems need to get off the streets, stop the protesting, work with Trump the best they can and start gearing up to produce a dynamite candidate in 3 years to beat him.

There is only one way to deal with a person like Trump and its not through appeasement.

Trump is a narcissist on an ego trip who was able to speak to a lot of issues many Americans care about in a way that the other Republican candidates and Hillary could not.
He has no interest nor the ability to deliver on those issues and ironically, he will probably set all of those issues back instead of making progress on them.
He's just in it for the attention and the adulation.

Trump's enablers in the Republican party and his administration are cynically using him to get policy enacted, get rich, get supreme court picks, etc. They are selling their souls for short term gain.

Trump's supporters don't want to admit they've been duped. Who would? If you've invested time and emotion in supporting a cause, it's human nature to want to deny that the cause may be nothing more than a narcissist telling people what they want to hear.

The REAL question is HOW he achieves his goals.

Banning refugees (other than those from Goldmann Sachs), building walls, threatening our Allies, running up trillions in debt for pet projects....NO!
