Too bad. Enjoyed listening to him even though I didn't frequently agree with him.

RIP.

Alan was one of those commentators who I think began to get more and more liberal as time went on and I don't know if he really believed it or whether he was told to do it to 'create more tension' (i.e. therefore getting more to watch him combat ideas of the other side). I also don't know if, even if he didn't believe all he said at first, whether he came to believe it after acting the part for so many years. In any event, there were times he frustrated me no end and yes, I gravitated more towards Hannity because of that, at least in part. But, I think he was basically a 'nice guy'. And I am certainly sorry to hear he has passed away this young.

I hate Fox News, but I used to like their show when it was on during the Obama/McCain election. I liked their different POVs and their political sparring, but how they seemed to be good friends IRL. Oh well. People die.

Fox is reporting it now.

Fox News Channel's Alan Colmes Dies at Age 66 | Fox News Insider

Always enjoyed him and Hannity - both are arrogant and perfect matches.

RIP.... A great loss to family, friends and fans. I'll leave any political comment out and just express my appreciation to him and his career.
