Does anyone know what Alan's illness was as it is mentioned that he died after an illness.
Even though I hardly ever agreed with him I admire how he was able to discuss things in a decent way and how his sister in law Monica Crowley who is a Republican always mentioned that in the family they all got along very well. RIP

Bummer.....I used to enjoy listening to his radio show before he was ever on Fox. Radio Graffiti was always great. It didn't translate to TV.

Rest in peace Mr Colmes.

I did not agree with him much on politics but he was always a good one to watch debate.

Too young to go.

This story is suspect. He tweeted less than an hour ago. I think. Shoot, I don't know what to believe anymore.

Maybe someone is tweeting for him.

OH, well.

RIP Alan...

I used to enjoy his radio program until the local talk station went to all conservatards, all the time.

So sad!

I have to say Hannity & Colmes is one of the reasons why I liked Fox, another reason is of course Bill O'Reilly.

Alan Colmes sounded like a really nice guy.

I wasn't aware he was ill. While I didn't agree with his politics, friends in the broadcasting industry said he was a great guy, very personable and generous with his time mentoring and advising others.

When Sean Hannity who was a very good friend and fellow Fox News host gives out a statement on the death of Alan then I believe he really passed away, Sean mentioned illness.
