Isn't that what the Dem and Repub elites have now? From what I've seen when I've traveled, people in single payer countries do work! Why would they not? Leisure class??? Because they can afford health care?

Everyone except the elites on both extremes will still work because they need to. They need food, homes, cars, clothing. Easy peasy. They will be free to try different jobs because they won't risk losing health insurance by changing jobs.

Very interesting. So we always hear Democrats ranting about Republicans. Did they take a look at their own numbers?

Nope, you are wrong. Why do you think America is so woefully out of touch with 99% of the world when it comes to worker's rights like paid family and medical leave?

Yes, but you wouldn't want to live in any of them.

My grandmother gave birth to my father without maternity leave. She was principal at a high school. Got back to work within a month.
Edit to add, Singapore and Thailand don't have paid family leave either.

I'm finally listening to Steven Beshear's speech and he's hit the nail on the head for what I've said about Trump.

So you're satisfied now that Trump has packed his administration with half of Wall Street...to...regulate Wall Street? Trump is as corrupt as it gets. He just gave a woman who donated $10 million to his campaign the keys to the department of education. Goldman freakin' Sachs is now in charge of the treasury after Trump blasted Hillary for being in bed with Goldman freakin' Sachs. Its like a big joke.
