Point is: many, many Muslims are peaceful people and shouldn't be lumped together with the violent *******s who co-opt the Islamic religion for their own nefarious deeds.
Many are compatible especially secular Muslims. The exceptions being the ones that believe in Sharia for all, practice Genital mutilation (250 mil), support Misogynistic laws, live in and support Islamic Republics, live in and support the laws contrary to common western laws. I would say at least a very generous 1/3 of the worlds Islamic population are incompatible with the West. Don't you think that is a fair list?

You want something in the last 50 years: How about Bosnia and Herzegovina? Hui Muslims attacked by Tibetan monks? Christian militias in Africa?
Yet we're stuck on combining all Muslims together. By limiting the time period you're covering up the atrocities done by Christians. The Crusaders didn't kill many people? 2 Million Muslims just decided to cease to exist? Really?
And as to the KKK during it's height of popularity, 15% of the US males supported it.

Since the end of WW1, who killed 6 Million plus Jews all over Europe? Certainly wasn't the Muslims. Outside of the Israel related issues, what Jews were killed in the Middle East and Africa by Muslims?

It is the religion and what is done in the name of religion. Society limits what can be learned from religion. Look around you as most ethics today come from religion. Muslims still have ethics. Much of Europe lacks ethics. Most of the US has ethics, but it clouded from view by the large cities that lack ethics. You want to create a thread on this subject, then go for it. But this is not the thread for it.
