Florida is awesome, my local stores have better prices than what can be found at ammograb...
This past month I have gone through 5k rounds.
9mm CCI blazer 152.16 per case of 1000.
45ACP federal premium 192.16 per case of 1000.
Legitimate Mil surp M193 not Lake City XM or IMI 193. 315.21 per steel ammo can of 1000 on 10 round stripper clips in cardboard fry boxes sealed inside plastic bags.
That'd what I commonly shoot. 40 S&W are only 165.73 per 1000.
These are after tax prices I have paid.
Outdoor range-15 dollars per 10 hour day. Covers pistol, rifle, rifle unlimited (which is for full auto rentals or if you have a bumpfire) Rifle long range 2k yards can shoot steel out past 800 yards. Can rent the Barret 50 for 100 bucks. I bring my National Match and 700 tactical chambered in 338 lapua out there.
To do simunition training is 100 per hour... let me tell you 9mm and 40 and 45 feel like paint balls. 5.56 hurts!!! Especially if you catch one in the ribs or back of the neck.
IDPA class was easy. Go over the basics so you don't shoot the drill instructor when he's shadowing you to grade you on accuracy, rate of fire, maneuvering as you are completing the course.
