The DNC won't insist on it because they know there is nothing to it. Now that Fox has retracted their fake story the media will pretty leave it alone with the exception of Hannity. He has nothing better to do.

The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.

Hannity doesn't need Fox News and it sounds like they don't want him. He and Mark Levin are good friends, it wouldn't surprise me to see Hannity on Levin's new network.
