Fox News retracts Seth Rich conspiracy story
Fox News on Tuesday retracted a story regarding the 2016 killing of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich after massive outcry over sharing conspiracy theories about the murder.
"On May 16, a story was posted on the Fox News website on the investigation into the 2016 murder of DNC Staffer Seth Rich," the retraction reads. "The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting.”
"Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.”
I dont think it is having much of an slow down effect on sean hannity, his entire radio show today has been about kimdotcom, seth rich assange, russian hearings. He read the whole statement from kimdotcom in full.
Should be interesting to see the TV show on fox tonight

Of course it won't slow down Hannity. He's a television personality, so everything is dross for his mill. It doesn't matter whether it's true or not, even if his own network disavows the story. Ratings will win out!

Fox News's ratings are way down, anyway, so who cares? It's not like they have the audience that advertisers covet. Their audience's age averages well north of 70, so the only companies that advertise on Fox are for adult diapers, erectile dysfunction pills, and those "buy gold now" scammers.

In other words FAKE NEWS!
