If Comey, as expected, testifies UNDER OATH to Congress that President Donald J. Trump asked the former FBI Director to "let go" Of the Flynn investigation....that will PROVE obstruction of justice.
it will no longer be "Fake news" or "reports from anonymous sources."
Trump supporters, what will be your response to That? That the former FBI Director, a Republican, is lying under oath before Congress? That Trump would never do That?

I often compare this investigation to the Watergate Investigation. I have seen nothing that leads me to believe the investigation will lead to Trump leaving office before the end of his first term. Back then things were slowly leaking out. Today it's more like a waterfall.
Trump has been his own worst enemy. In the past he has hired lawyers to avoid paying contractors or get him out of jams. This time he's way over his head. Even his personal lawyer is being called out on the carpet.
Jim Comey is a smart man. His thinking is reasonable and clear. Trump's attempt to silence him may land Trump in jail. Most smart men would see the writing on the wall and make a deal. I don't see that happening with Trump. And that may be why he could become the first sitting president to serve time in prison.

That really appears not be the case according to unbiased studies. I don't believe many liberals were Trump voters. If more Trump voters were conservatives, that would rather disprove your theory.
The fact is that people are willing to believe fake news if it supports their world views, and during the election, more fake news was put out about Clinton than Trump.

If he claims Trump ordered him to stop, it will mean he perjured himself when he testified that Trump did not. Unless this 'memo' is a recording of Trump explicitly telling him to stop the investigation, then nothing is going to happen.
Nunes has already warned Dems "you will not like the outcome". The collusion charges have been urban legend and HRC should of been locked up with Bill.
Liberals think the outcome will come their way, in fact I predict many will fall and HRC and bill will be the first ones in Jail.

Comey is and remains a boy scout. He is not about to be tainted with any scandal. That is why Obama did not fire him as he should have and why Comey could get into this absolutely impossible position where he reports one investigation but suppresses the other in the middle of a presidential election.
It will turn out that Trump requested that the Flynn investigation be terminated but did not order that it be done in a discussion where loyalty was requested. Comey behaved as a boy scout would and therefore got fired.
The view of criminal action against either Clinton is of course a right wing fantasy. Not a chance.
