It's certainly a different tone than the common fear mongering propaganda delivered by Trump, but it is consistent with messaging that is prevalent in the developed world. The London Mayor announced that there will be an increased police presence on the streets, and that there is no reason for people to be alarmed by increased police presence.

Why is the religion of the mayor relevant?
