What can the left do? Gabby Gifford got shot, the Right dug in. Ron Barber was also shot. Maybe we could sit around and get shot. Our local GOP held events where you could shoot a full auto M-16 at pictures of Gabby until she did get shot. I live on the border, politicians and militias all come here to get their pictures taken. I'll go with the gun enthusiasts we should allow firearms in the capitol and the White House. I've been called a libturd, the enemy, and on and on every day. Now the VA is going to take $1700 a month from me. The Army is taking $900 and Medicaid will no longer pay for Nursing care. You expect me to be friendly

I remember so well when the Obama hate was at it's peak. I posted here that when a Republican is next elected, they will call for civility and Democrats owe them nothing considering the way there were treating Obama. Posters replied that would not be the case, that Republicans were above the need for such a thing as civility.

The thread topic is not about LTR. I do not believe I've ever claimed to be perfect. You should probably review the TOS. Fortunately, you're personally attacking someone who doesn't believe in reporting every violation of the TOS.
There's been a lot of lip service about "civility" from Democrat Senators and Representatives on TV and the radio over the past two days. They all seem to profess a desire to return to the days where the "climate" isn't so divisive and charged with animosity.
My question is what, if anything, will these liberals do to work towards the civility they claim they want?
Will they stop claiming that efforts to reform the failed ACA will result in "killing thousands of people"?
Will they stop claiming that conservatives are bigots/racists/xenophobes simply because they want illegal immigration addressed.
Will they stop making wild-eyes accusations of treason with no evidence whatsoever simply because they lost an election?
Will they stop encouraging their followers to "resist," to "take out Trump and company," and warning that there must be "blood in the streets"?
Will they stop violent protests that silence political speech they disagree with at colleges and universities?
Will they stop their angry and hateful rhetoric about racism and brutality committed on a systemic basis by police officers and other law enforcement officials?
My prediction is that we'll have a few days of relative quiet from the left, and then it will be back to the same all out war of rhetoric on conservatives and Republicans. And then, predictably, more violence will follow as the next unhinged Bernie supporter loses it and makes an assassination attempt or worse.

Of course page after page of 100% predictable responses. Liberals have absolutely ZERO intention of being in any way civil or doing anything to tone down the rhetoric, engage in childish "but people on the right did...blah blah blah" and at the same time try and claim how high and moral they are.
Totally predictable. Don't ever expect them to stop their violent protests or hate speech while mouthing utterly empty comments about how tolerant they are.
