It is a FACT that I bought a refrigerator last year. How many did Bill Gates buy? Consumer spending.
It is a FACT that if you ask any 'job creator' to create jobs they will say they can't unless there is a market to do so.
See FACT 1.

What does any of your facts have anything to do with the discussion? So what most of wealth has gone to a very small group of people? It means jack squat when 90% of that wealth concentration goes away after 3 generations.

FACT that before Apple came out with iPhone, there was NOT market to do so.

FACT that if you ask any job creator to create jobs out of thin air, they will say they can't unless there is capital.

Amazing how people who don't even understand basic investing are so damn convinced of their economic views. And they would probably also regard Nobel prize winning economists as idiots and liars.

But, hey, if you think I'm some great person for hoarding wealth, God bless! The only people benefiting are my kids, but glad you would sacrifice so that they have a better life.

Democrats, please explain how many jobs are created by poor people other then government employees?
I am not a Dem, but if you think about it for a minute, you will realize every person creates jobs / business. Even the poor live in houses, and someone builds those houses. That means jobs. Someone runs rental units. Jobs. The poor eat. Jobs for food producers, and grocery stores. They wear clothes. Jobs for clothing industry.

Besides insults, are you capable of having a conversation?

If you disagree, come out with your reasoning not your insults. Every idiot knows how to call others idiots.

Well, of course you're not out creating jobs if you're destitute unless you're helping nonprofits by being a source of people for them to assist.

But, this walleyed notion that only the elite are creating jobs is quite ridiculous.

Plenty of people are starting businesses every day who aren't RICH and they do employ others, so this thread is disingenuous, at best.

Sure. Everybody contributes to the economy except for the welfare recipients.

Please name one. Just one, please.

How does someone employ others when they have no money?

So you have an immigrant with assets near zero who just hired an employee, and this will have a long-term cascading affect. In 5-10 years you'll have a successful business where owner is solidly upper middle class and has dozens of employees.

But even then, there are no "rich" people involved. Taco stand (now taco restaurant) is bringing in enough to make him comfortable, but he still's solidly middle class. He is actually the great job generator. Yet, amazingly, the Trump cult thinks these guys working 100 hour weeks and living the American dream are the "bad guys".

Rich folks, if they're smart, are just stashing their money away in index funds, helping no one.
I am a legal immigrant, just FYI.

Where does the said immigrant get the money to even open a small taco stand? If the person has $0, he wouldn't be able to do anything.

I guess you have never been to WallMart. They love poor people, because they pour their money into WallMart coffers, which of course results in jobs.
