Republican Health Bill Updated To Avoid Insurance Market 'Death Spiral' : NPR

Yup. Lose your job, or have something that causes you to not be able to pay for insurance for a couple months? No insurance for you for 6 months.

I understand the desired purpose, however the results will kill people. Sick people often have a hard time keeping their employment. This change will kill many of those.

Cause and effect. This is not that hard. I'm not saying everyone's going to die, but I am saying a lot of folks WILL die. Theres a reason the incentive to remain insured was through a financial penalty, and not this.

If you are wealthy of course this isn't a problem.

You're just uncomfortable with the consequences of the bill. And yes, the consequences are lots of deaths of course. No way around that. But the ruling donor class own the puppets you vote for. And they wont die. They get trillions in tax breaks. Thats what matters.

No doubt and for those who get cancer or chronic medical condition that requires extensive treatment or close management by a team of medical professionals to keep their health from deteriorating will be out of luck. All in the name of saving the wealthiest Americans some money. Yeah for sure people will die.
