Resident, "I need my $6.55."

Driver, "That's bull****. F you!"

The people living in nice houses tipped well; it's the slum dwellers and college students who didn't tip. And of course nobody could blame them because their slumlords were already taking most of their money.

p.s. I once delivered a pizza to a state representative (R) who later became governor. He and his wife ordered a small one-topping pizza ($4.25 at the time). His wife presented a check for the exact amount, no tip.

If all you do is worth $8 an hour what makes you think you deserve more?
It.just shows the fallacy. As for your's, who is to say that we don't try. I don't play video games. However I can barely get one job let alone two or three. I get paid above AZ minimum wage but it isn't really enough. I get paid $1 to $2 above AZ minimum wage for about 40 hours of work from August to early February, I live at home but don't have a lot of savings due to ab unexpected medical bill two and a half years ago that costs me $225 a month for the past 28 months and will for another 6/7 months.

It depends on the company's business. If it's more volume based like trading, the margin is not as important. In most companies, margin is more important.

No you can't, because other countries don't want low-end workers.

No sane conservative would want to pay people less. It's stupid. If people has less money, they have less to spend and it's detrimental to the economy.

As we human advance, our skills are further specialized and improved. Jack of all trades, master of none doesn't work well in modern society. Each becomes more specialized. Improvement of skills is a good thing for us all.
Yeah they grow out of those jobs but two things there is not enough higher paying jobs for everyone and even if they did the businesses they left would go out of business because there would not be enough people to work there. It is not about skill level it is about the number of people who can do the job the more that are qualified to do that job the less the job will pay.

What are your costs?

At $12/hour, you make $1920/month. That's not small. I can easily live on that wage.
