Will Trump supporters now realize they've been played?
Trump can no longer say this is a witch hunt because his own son admitted he tried to collude with the Russians. Only he was stupid and fell into a bear trap.
The Russians played dopey Trump Jr. (it's OK to call people names now, Trump normalized and legitimized it) like fiddle. They set the trap and he, Kushner and surprisingly Manafort fell for it.
It doesn't matter that there was no secret information conveyed in the meeting. Just the fact that Dopey Jr. accepted the meeting thinking he was promised secret Clinton dirt from a foreign national that was from the Russian government, invited Manafort and Kushner, and then they showed up is more than the Russians could ever ask for. Dopey Jr. fell for it.
They had Kompromat on the Trump team for a year now. I wonder how they used it. Maybe forcing Trump to change the GOP platform to adopt a Pro-Russian stance regarding arming the Ukraine? Is this one of the reasons Trump will insult Americans but vouch for Putin and never say a bad word about him?
And remember this little tirade from Dopey Jr.? What a little weasel to say this when did exactly what he degraded Robby Mook for. Seems like he was really talking about himself. since he had to back track the lies he told every time he opened his mouth or tweeted over the past weekend.
TAPPER: [Mook] seemed to be suggesting that this is part of a plot to help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton. Your response?
TRUMP JR.: Well, just goes to show you their exact moral compass. They’ll say anything to be able to win this. This is time and time again, lie after lie. Now every time Dopey Jr. speaks, it should be followed by this statement:

I am sure there were dozens of not hundreds of conversations between the Trump team and parties of various foreign governments, as there were by the Clinton team during the campaign. As they did with special interests and lobbyists all vying for a foot in the door to whoever became the next president.
If this is the best evidence the left has on to some grand collusion between the Trump team and the Russians then they obviously have nothing. A big nothing sandwich.

And this is where we have arrived. U.S. citizens are not only comfortable with the U.S. government interfering in the sovereign elections of other countries (a long held view) but now we have become comfortable with foreign governments interfering with and assisting in the determination of U.S. elections.
We have jettisoned the concept of citizen self-determination and have replaced it with international Oligarchical rule. And apparently a significant part of the population is either explicitly it implicitly quite comfortable with this. With just a bit more of a push we right there in Orwell's 1984.

How can you possible see these emails, which directly contradicts the Trump narrative for the past year, and claim that they are nothing? You folks are proving without a shred of doubt that you can not objectively look as this situation. You could see an ABSCAM like video of Team Trump paying Putin directly in gold coins and claim it's nothing.
It is simply amazing how this man has taken control of your mind and how he is making you think so illogically.

For Trump the kitty cat grabber and serial misogynist to put his daughter Ivanka front and center over his name sake and the other twittle dee Eric, it was obvious that Trump knew his sons were idiots
Geez Unbelievable.... that Right Wingers come out with this string of denials.... They now even more so demonstrate to be a cult like in mentality, not too different as the people who followed the likes of Hitler, Mussolini and even like those who were cult consumed who followed Jim Jones.
Now we can understand why America has seen a steady decline over the past 50+ yrs..... Desperation makes these people accept anything!!!! ... and try and cover it with denials... Its completely insane, they are like the people who denied the hanging in Slavery era and denied the hanging in segregationist America, and now they want to blind themselves with a different type of denials in this 21st Century. It's like a remake of the crowds in Selma fighting against the voting rights act, or the people who attacked blacks in the streets of the early 20th century, and tried to go on and pretend it was not real and claim it didn't happen.
Watched FOX last night. They did not see anything wrong with the collusion, and instead accused the media for 'attacking Trump's family'. Its like saying the courts attacked Ted Bundy.

This is not a right wing issue. People in the other side demonstrated similar behavior when they opted to ignore the actions of the Clintons' (plural).
