They’re residential builders. Home buyers probably have the “option” of installing solar panels. It appears there aren’t many takers.

I’ve a newer home, foam insulation, solar water heater and solar panels. It makes sense to me since we live in AZ. I keep the A/C on 72 during the summer and I didn’t have to turn on the heating this winter. We have a heat pump. Our electric bill in the summertime is about $340/mo. That includes running the pool filter though (which costs about $200/mo). It’s less than that in the winter, of course. I’m quite happy with it.

A lot of my friends pay over $700.00/mo for electric in the summertime.

Trump did the right thing for sure in this case....still let's beat those targets.

2006 CO2 utility emissions were 2.5 trillion tons. 2016 were about 1.9 trillion. A 25% reduction from 2005 looks like it's already been done. (I didn't look too hard for 2005 or 2017.) Those numbers are from the Energy Information Administration.

Mission accomplished, looks like.

That is definitely good news. It’s my understanding that it’s mainly because of cheap natural gas replacing coal. Solar and wind have helped.

Yeah, the funny part though is that most people that are big into that topic are scared to say the "F" word.

Spoiler
Fracking

Tesla had effective power alternatives decades ago, problem is, its a little too good for the people and not so great for a large energy industry,I guess thats why the technology remains totally classified to this day!

Whatever energy is used, it MUST be able to support a large industry behind it and able to be metered out for sale to the public.

How about "non-depletable"?

Oh brother....the old "Nikolai Tesla" free energy conspiracy.

Do you realize how many "perpetual motion/free energy" hoaxes have been purported over the years?

What about the "Magic Carburator" that gets ya 70mpg back in the 1970's? How many of those did you buy? Or the secret formula you can put a few drops into your gas tank and it doubles your gas mileage?

All classics.
