ROTFLMAO! c'mon LTR--it might have been the Democrats Train Wreck--but Trump and the Republicans own it now--it's on them to compromise..to bend to the governance of common sense. The Democrats need to bend also....but the onus is on the party in power.

What happens is that the patient is stabilized and then typically is kept in the hospital until transferred or discharged. Uninsured or not the patient has to be protected and their best interests followed as close as possible.

Wait, you want the government to remain open?

Glutton for punishment, eh?

She has a PLAN. She tweeted that all could review and use it.

AND - the republicans have done all this in secret, closed door meetings. No, not one, Democrat was invited.

This is THEIR failure.

We had a plan; we passed a plan and Republicans promised to blow it up.

Let's hope at least 6-8 more Senators oppose the bill. Then they can go on vacation after the bill is officially tossed out.

When they return, hopefully they spend lots of time on the budget (again) because then they won't be trying to cut Social Security or privatize Medicare.

I would not heave a sigh of relief and declare it dead. This happened in the House too and look where we are. This is still just "as of now" but anything can still happen.

Definitely not a time to let up on reminding Senators of how much this atrocious bill would hurt their constituents

If Obamacare implodes..it won't be in the Blue States--it will be the States that chose not to enter into the Medicare expansion in the beginning. Those are the states where insurance companies are pulling out of the exchanges..in many case..Trump Country.

If the gov. lets Obamacare implode--it will go down as a paradigm changer for our Country's political landscape.

I hope Trump lets it implode...I long for it...Lol!

A bright spot in my day to hear this. I agree, the dam has failed and several more may now jump off this sinking garbage scow. There's nothing left for the Trump Conspiracy to do, but turn completely against its rabid base and give all the people a decent healthcare program. The Democrats will do all they can to help with a plan that could be acceptable to all reasonable people.

This is a big chance, maybe even the last chance, for everyone in congress to do something that is bipartisan and beneficial for everyone. If the interests of the ordinary people are served and they flourish, then the rich will be able to make even more money off them. I guess the 1% never thought of that.
