I have more creative words for Tomlin than that tired old cliché.

Let's see some outrage over that. Let's see athletes and entertainers taking knees for that.

Good point! I surely don't know why crime continues in Chicago when Trump said it must stop.

Seriously though, maybe more important to consider is these numbers you provide and/or don't provide...

Much of why there is the "heat" about all this now is because there is lots of outrage about unarmed black men killed by police per year AND the number of blacks killing blacks AND the number of police shootings/killings whether the victim is armed or not, absolutely necessary or not, AND the REASONS blacks are more likely the targets than whites AND what innocent peaceful black folks are having to deal with in their neighborhoods that whites seem oblivious and indifferent about AND that nobody really knows how to make things better for those who want things to get better AND...

Now our fault you two aren't smart enough to understand the difference between civilian and civilian crime and cop on civilian crime.

A civilian shoots and kills another person, they don't get paid administrative leave. They rot in jail until their trial and then rot in trial after they're convicted. And, in the rare occurrence that they get off, they don't get to go back to business as usual, like cops. Most of these murderers don't have the resources to beat a murder case.

Cops are held to a higher standard than civilians. Cops carry around a badge and gun and have certain authorities over civilians, not civilians. Cops are peace officers who are servants of their communities, not civilians.

Cops get caught on social media using racial slurs, against the very people they are supposed to protect. Cops get caught planting evidence, cops get caught on video planting a weapon after shooting someone in the back, cops shoot the wrong person, and then respond with, I don't know" why I shot you. Cops shoot someone who called 911, because they were "startled". Cops get caught in department-wide coverups.

And you act like you can't see a problem after the last two paragraphs and act like it's not a big deal.

FYI, athletes do take up initiatives focused on black communities, but because you don't hear about it, you don't think it exists. That's pretty ironic when you all complain about the reasoning of these public protests.

Is it really a big deal? - I hear that particular word more now on TV, than I did 40 years ago.

What lie? He used the PRESIDENTIAL BULLY PULPIT to let's say ENCOURAGE (if that makes you feel better) owners to say 'YOU'RE FIRED' to those that take a knee.

And he did, indeed, call them sons of *******.

This complete and total farce and failure that you continue to defend. He will go down at the worst president in history.

Thank you for electing THAT.

CTE is something that can drive significant numbers away from playing the sport. It is definitely a major reason I'll never let any children of my own play the sport.
Yep it is. Ironically parents put kiss into soccer and wondered why they had concussions too... Next you'll tell me that Americam hockey is declining due to them too... In all seriousness, hockey had far more concussion issues in the 1990's And early 2000's. Partially due to player reporting or returning too soon.

Domestic violence was even a bigger issue than Trump. Trump might turn people away short term, they'll be bank for the Super Bowl in Minnesota. Why because it is Super Bowl. Those estranged St. Louis And San Diego fans will return for that.
