What these kneel bending players should really do...
Why not put your money where your mouth is and actually do something besides make a statement? If you're trying to draw attention to black communities then donate to a cause that would help them! Or be a mentor to a child.
To me all this knee bending has done nothing positive. Just look at these CD posts...we are name bashing and at each other's throats.

NFL revenue is being negatively impacted by the introduction of politics into people's leisure time, and entertainment. The NFL, and the team owners are about one thing, and one thing only. MONEY. If revenue continues to slide you will see team owners act. If I were an owner, and saw my revenue decline due to these political protests I would hold a team meeting, and tell the players if they disrespected the National Anthem, and our country by kneeling, raising fists, or any other gesture they would not be playing on my team. They would sit until they could be traded, or released. I would also write this into any player contract, however, I believe it already exists.
Quote:
All persons associated with the NFL are required to avoid “conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in the National Football League.” This requirement applies to players, coaches, other team employees, owners, game officials and all others privileged to work in the National Football League.
We're talking about functional illiterates, earning 1% money for playing sports & they hate the country that gives them the opportunity? What we're dealing with is base ignorance & a complete lack of self awareness.
I don't think any of the Cowboys have done it yet , because Jones has spoken out against it. But eventually some will as peer pressure grows from other teams, and Jones, the consummate businessman, will remain silent and let them have their way. He is more interested in winning a SB than politics, and his star QB is black.
They really have to. Most sports are dominated by black athletes. They would lose football as we know it if they didn't stand behind their players.

Cleveland Browns players stood for the national anthem and locked arms with law enforcement and military personnel before Sunday's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Police officers, military personnel and firefighters also ran out of the Browns' tunnel to cheers prior to the game to promote unity.
Working together to solve problems is always a better choice.
I sponsor 5 children in provished countries through Compassion International. How about you?
