Trump made one mistake. He should have addressed the sponsors instead of the owners.
What these so-called protesters are like is a person given a billion dollars to spend anyway they choose and taking the check and spitting in the face of the donor while kicking him in the balls. Every American has the right to their own beliefs but to disrespect the very source that gives them that right is just plain downright stupid.
My group stopped attending NFL and/or watching NFL games after Kaepernick took a knee and nothing was done about it. Most of us are vets and to see a bunch of morons who never served their country disrespect America is pathetic. With the latest bull**** we are turning to the sponsors and informing them that we are no longer going to buy their products. (No need to watch the games. It is easy to get a list of those sponsors on the web). We encourage all Americans to do the same.
The way I see it, if you want to stand during the anthem, stand. If you don't, don't. It's like the pledge of allegiance. If you want to recite it, fine. If not, fine. The people who died for freedom protecting the rights of people who stand, also protected the rights of those who don't.

How about they want the same protections for people of color as for white people. That's what the national anthem, the flag and all that other business is supposed to be about. You know the part in the Declaration of Independence where it says all men are created equal? It appears that some men are more equal than others.
So it makes perfect sense to you then that players would stand for "God Save the Queen" but kneel for the Anthem?
The NFL is about 70% black. They make big bucks. If they were truly concerned about how blacks are treated by the police why is it they don't pool their money and fight it legally? I guess it is just easier for them to have someone else do it for them.
NFL - NUFFLE ‘EM
Before you boycott the NFL, take time to note who the ADVERTISERS are, and send THEM a note that you will no longer buy nor recommend their products / services as long as they support the NFL's insult to patriotism. Cut off the advertisers, and the NFL will wither and die... or do a 180 degree turn.

They think they are so cute to align themselves with Little Rocket Man who is threatening to "set the USA on Fire" with his Hydrogen bombs. Show exactly who they are and probably why they Disrespect the US Flag and National Anthem.
I don't know how you can compare what the NFL players are doing, as aligning themselves with Kim Jong-un. these are totally different situations, like apples and oranges. Talk about stretching things.
Kaepernick's protest was ostensibly about policing, then he showed up in a Fidel castro t-shirt and started whining about oppression, and later admitted he didn't even vote.
Now what are they protesting? Trump? And the way to do it is to disrespect the national anthem like babies?
America made these jockhead steroid head Moron millionaires rich.. They need to stand for the flag. Bunch of prima donna liberals. Go to Bangladesh and see if you can enjoy such a lavish lifestyle to throw a football or put a ball in a hoop. IF most of these morons had no athletic ability, 90 percent of them would probably sitting in jail IDIOTS!!!
The NFL needs to go anyways. Pretty much every player in that league has brain damage. How are they allowed to stay in business?
