Democrats: "We lost because we weren't Liberal/Progressive enough, and didn't promote divisive, identity politics!" LOL!
That's their 80k debt liberal arts degrees at work, they made them dumber. We've already ascertained that they're extremely bad at math. Poor things I feel bad for them.
I detest Trump, but I will say what I say to everyone who blames the president on gas prices: He has little or no control over them. And this includes him.
True, the issue is he claims the economy is better any chance he gets. How can out be better when gas prices rise yet raises are still mostly stagnant and don't keep up?
When the economy improves there is more demand for energy, and gasoline, and other energy sources increase in price. That is where more supply must come in to keep an equilibrium of reasonable energy costs.

Key part there is that to a large extent it's the GLOBAL economy that can drive those costs.
Really sucks when your own economy is in the crapper and others are buying up oil like crazy. (General comment, not aimed at any country in particular)
As usual, you guys entirely missed the point of this thread. The point is, every time Trump sneezes, you guys claim he has done something great for America. The stock market goes up, and Trump did it. The jobless rate fell again, and Trump did it. Some company puts up a new plant, and Trump did it.
Ok, so if he is responsible for all the GOOD stuff, why not take responsibility for the BAD stuff ? It makes just as much sense, in other words, no sense at all. If your side can post nonsensical facts, why should we be exempt ?
I defended Bush, Obama and now Trump from stupid claims about them controlling gas prices.
RWNJ's have defended Bush and Trump and blamed Obama.
You and the other LWNJ's have attacked Bush and Trump while defending Obama.
Now you're here spinning and pointing fingers that it's the OTHER guys fault after getting absolutely wrecked ove your hypocrisy? Have you no shame?
Stop driving, get rid of your gas guzzlers, move closer to work, walk or take transit instead. Then stop your damn whining.
Only like 5 percent of the population use public transit to go to work. If you want to increase that the govt would have to step in and provide more funding for transit.
There's a lot of medium sized cities that really need a rail system or an expanded rail system but for some reason we add 10 trillion dollars to the national debt and have nothing to show for it.

Too many people live outside of transit or are not along transit lines. Arizona has a nice metro live of buses and a light rail, but not every area has that access in suburban AZ. This is reality that is bright up anytime this has been brought up.
Spoiler
Yes this post is tongue in cheek

The economy improving is true but it isn't at the same time. Wages aren't keeping up with the cost of living in many areas. Hence the minimum wage increases.
