That's not really a gift. No one else would do mail affordably. FedEx would probably charge 5 dollars a letter.

Before FED ex, that letter envelope cost $15-20 thru USPS and took weeks to arrive.
Then fed ex and ups showed up doing it for $5.

Source. That's how much express packages are now. FedEx would charge 3 dollars for a first class letter merely for profit. Government can inherently undercharge what business can because it doesn't need to make a profit.

Source is me. I send many packages. It was so relieving when USP showed up. A business dosent take over someone elses business by charging more.

Annecdotal evidence is garbage. You can ship a medium size priority for 6 dollars any weight.

Much like those polled who are opposed to "Obamacare", but view the Affordable Care Act favorably...it boils down to understanding the subject.

The KFF is a well regarded source for healthcare information and data.

Doesn't make much difference how they are regarded, the fact remains most people do not understand what what single payer means. I still say, if they did, they would not be in favor of it, or many would not.

Cheaper maybe, but it is damn expensive as well and I am not buying they are better. There is more to cheap than just a buck you may save. Unfortunately the postal service has become a joke.

When it comes to delivering a package (which is the same everywhere) I think price matters the most. They get to you either way.

I don't give a F if the plan presented is a Republican or a Democratic plan, having to pay close to $3K more for health care insurance is unacceptable. Roughly 90% of the country get their insurance from the government or an employer and the average that is paid is $5k. Why in the world should anyone sign off to pay more for the benefit of the other 10%? That's the same BS thought process that got us Obamacare. Focus on the ones it helps and throw the ones it hurts under a bus and pretend they don't exist. Sorry, no.

Single payers plan is $30 billion cheaper than ObamaCare. And will be even cheaper as we rid the middlemen. (Greedy Insurance Companies).

I find it hilarious that a guy making 50k or less hates the middle class. hahahaha

Very funny that Republicans would rather extend ObamaCare for another 2 years then to actually repeal Ocare. More money in their pockets I guess.
