This is most likely going to raise the temperature of the atmosphere and, by heat transference, the oceans.

My suggestion is to stop the injection phase of the experiment as soon a feasible and start to prepare for the likely results of a warmer atmosphere.
Actually, the injection of so many billions of acre feet of fresh water into the oceans would more likely cause an ice age.

Natural occurrences like Volcanoes put a lot more CO2 into the atmosphere than humans. When you give up your house heating and cooling system, use of electricity, car, plane travel, and buying anything made with fossil fuel I may take you seriously. Until then, stop telling me how to live my life.

No matter what it is too late to stop what is to come. Even if i beamed every person and car off the planet it won't stop the heating.

But....you are free to give up your car, your house, and most of your lifestyle as an example for us all to laugh at.
No it doesn't make sense because there are no natural climate forcings that can explain what is happening today....That leaves increasing greenhouse gasses as the culprit.

As i said up above, the sun and our orbit is the main reason.

Look at Gore and the megawatts he has used.
Bunch of scum bags.
For a person that claims to know everything, you are wrong on this one
Al Gore, who was criticized for high electric bills at his Tennessee mansion, has completed a host of improvements to make the home more energy efficient, and a building-industry group has praised the house as one of the nation’s most environmentally friendly. The former vice president has installed solar panels, a rainwater-collection system and geothermal heating. He also replaced all incandescent lights with compact fluorescent or light-emitting diode bulbs.

Another "intelligent" comment.

Greenhouse gas levels since the beginning of the industrial age have risen to many many many times higher than they have ever been. The science behind that is simple and proven: Analyzing ice core samples. If you think that is fake or unproven science then you are too disconnected to debate with.

The following link has a chart that shows not only how ice core gas sampling works, but there is also a chart showing the CO2 levels for the last 800,000 years. Read it and learn!

Anyone interested in how a runaway greenhouse effect can affect a planet, check out Venus. That can't happen here, of course, but you guys that don't believe greenhouse gasses warms the earth's atmosphere take the cake. Science is becoming lost. People either don't care about it, or have let politics provide their scientific education. Pathetic.
There is no "runaway greenhouse effect" on Venus. That's another lie spouted by "science lovers" and "science believers." Venus is hot because it is closer to the sun, barely rotates, rotates in the opposite direction of other planets, has no magnetic field to protect it against solar radiation, and has a very thick atmosphere - which exerts pressure on the surface and raises the temperature (see real science: Boyle's Law).

lol... count me as too disconnected then. That claim is ridiculous.
