I don't know if you noticed but I'm not in congress, I have no control over what plan may or may not be implemented nor do I have any input about any plan.
Greed is why insurance companies are pulling out of ObamaCare because they are making to much money,
^^good one. Cuebald likely missed that point.
They're making so much money and are so greedy that they don't even want to sell it anymore!
I'd explain further to the pack of idiots posting garbage like this but you need to be able to understand fairly basic math and division....which is going past their education level.
If we can just be patient and stomach this out until next year's midterms are over, then maybe, just maybe, we can finally get enough conservative Senators to repeal ObamaCare.
That charge increase next year will be motivation enough for people to not vote Democrat.
The formula is Premium = Losses / (1 - expenses - profits - tax)
expenses might be 12%, profits 3%, tax about 3% so basically Losses/ .82 is what you pay in premiums.
Yep, for those of you that are playing at home the premium tax is often comparable to the insurers profit margins for coverages like this. Derp.
Probably the same people that whine when the insurance companies don't want to cover everything....but then turn around and complain about the high prices.
It's just sad to read these threads, what do you people do for a living and how do you get through life knowing so little but having such strong opinions? Don't you ever care to stop and learn before forming an opinion or is that just too hard at this point?
So does the waiver and the "other" box which nullifies the requirement.
Or just say you made under 10k a year.
