You know it, I know it, and so do millions of other people. Obama was a great President and got through 8 years with no factually negative issues, only those made up by his detractors. He and Michelle worked hard to improve the lives of every day people, and they put up with every ugly smear thrown at them from people who hated them for reasons not related at all to their performance or dedication. It is pretty obvious, from even the comments on here, that we all know the real reason a lot of people were not willing to give him a chance, or give him credit for all that he did accomplish.
My life is better today because of his efforts, and every business that is growing and enjoying profits again can thank him for that happening. He took over when this country was on the brink of a very serious depression, and his work made a real positive difference that is still being seen today. He is not only respected and loved here, but around the world.
But, you and I can talk until the cows come home, and they will never acknowledge any of that. They prefer to hitch their wagons to a man who is completely at a loss in his new position, and he is getting worse by the day. You can't fix stupid.
Obviously there are plenty of people who disagree with you. Democrats lost over 1000 seats during Obama's presidency and lost the presidency. Oh he was good for himself but not for hard working Americans.
Well, maybe you can tell me how that worked back in November??
Actually, it worked out pretty damn well. Hillary beat Trump by almost 3 million actual human being votes.
In the final count, Hillary Clinton's lead in the popular vote of the 2016 presidential election was nearly three million votes.
According to the independent, non-partisan Cook Political Report, Clinton's final tally came in at 65,844,610, compared to Donald Trump's 62,979,636, with a difference of 2,864,974. The total number of votes for other candidates was 7,804,213
If it wasn't for that little Electoral College thing, you would be talking about President Clinton right now !
Obama's legacy is a weaker and more divided America. Obama and Democrats are identity politicians. Stoke and aggravate groups in hopes that they targeted enough to be in power.
Obama encouraged class warfare. Obama rekindled a racial divide that had been steadily disappearing in American society. In fostering group identity politics for political advantage, the Obama administration only divided the American people. And the people know it.

Yet she still is not president. What Democrats got there is a regional party and the founding fathers were too smart to allow that to control the rest of the country.
So this just confirms that without Obama, the Dems are lost
The problem with the GOP is that they never trotted out GW because he was such a liability.
Like it or not, the Clintons were popular after POTUS (60% or more) and they helped Obama. Obama seems to be even more popular now - and will probably get moreso as Americans realize that he accepts ALL people as human beings. It is a stark contrast to Trump and the general GOP.
If this is the case....he will be an asset in any campaign. That's the way politics work. He doesn't care whether you like him or not because even if he walked on water and the Lord declared him his Son, you'd still probably dislike him due to his skin color or the propaganda you've been fed.
So, when he campaigns I have a suggestion for you. Don't watch, listen or read.
Obama left America divided, bitter and angry. Not a good feeling at all.
The only ones who had a problem with Obama were the racist, and the rich folk. I didn't feel that the country was divided at all. ACA was the only thing I didn't care for.
