I guess you forgot about Timothy McVeigh who in 1995 killed 168 with his truck bomb in Oklahoma City. Today, FBI consider radical rightwing terrorists to be the biggest threat by far here in the USA.
Was McVeigh part of some Nazi group? I thought he was a stand alone anti government nut case not part of any organizatized group. I'm not playing down what he did at all I just don't remember his bombing plot being under the direction of any specific group. Doesn't change his ideology or make such efforts any less a serious threat though.
I was just noting efforts by organized groups. That armored car hit was Aryan Warriors I believe they called themselves. Something like that.
Nazis and communists have killed approximately the same number of people, difference is Nazis did it in 12 years whereas the Communists did it in 100 years.
Safe to say Nazism is far more dangerous.

Nazis ruled one country (not including the countries they occupied) and for a little over 10 years and they managed to kill approximately 60 million.
Communists have ruled dozens of countries for about 100 years and have managed to kill approximately the same amount, give or take a few million.
Safe to say Nazism is far more dangerous. If the Nazis ruled for 100 years and in dozens of countries they would have killed hundreds of millions easily
This may be the oddest and least-nuanced logic I've ever encountered on this board.
Left Wingers = They can be wonderful people, and have lovely idealistic notions.
So, which group causes me more concern?
By far the Left Wingers.
NeoNazis are impotent and insignificant. The tide of history, at least in the US, is against them.
Left Wingers, however, even though many are nice and friendly, pose a much greater threat to the US as our nation was founded and intended to be.
Before any of you raise the fact that our founders had slaves and did not afford equal rights to all, they knew that such was not the ideal, and our Constitution, if read literally (as I believe it should be), provides us the blueprint for the nation and society our founders envisioned for us.
We have struggled mightily at times to reach the ideal, and we still have work to do to attain those lofty goals. But, IMO, our Constitution is a magnificent document, and I bristle at attempts by Left Wingers to denigrate those who gave it to us and their efforts to "interpret" meanings that are clear and unambiguous.

"Approximately the same number of people"
Low estimate for communism: 94 million people killed
High estimate for the Nazis: 20 million people killed
I think people view Nazis as being worse because they were so open and honest about what they were doing, and they did it efficiently. Communists never claimed to WANT to kill people, but they would just label you a criminal or traitor and send you off to die.
Both are perfect examples of what can happen when people fall for the "common good" argument. Nazis and communists both convinced their populations that violating individual rights was justified because it was supposedly for the good of the nation.
Communists have killed more, Islamists have as well. Both of those ideologies are just as authoritarian as the neo nazis, and both hate and want to destroy anyone who does not follow their ideology. They do not necessarily hate based on race though. Are either of those two ideological groups worse than the neo nazis? Is there some other group I haven't thought of that is worse than any of these, or are the neo nazis the pinnacle of all that is evil?
Evil is Evil, comparing numbers is ludicrous when one realizes the magnitude of their Evil.
Nazis aren't bad per say, they're just brainwashed and happen to do bad things sometimes. For me the most evil groups were the ottomans and the japs from world War 2 who were also brainwashed but never took responsibility for the atrocious actions they did.
