The same can be said of every other Agency and Department - they will run out of money at the end of the Fiscal Year - the end of September.

What are you talking about... the Director didn't say they were running out of money at the end of the year. He said 1,000 agents have already hit their limits. That is why he's asking lawmakers to raise the cap (even though 13 agents still won't be able to get paid) and a $60 million budget increase for the next year. What is normal about a 8 figure unexpected budget increase??

These are not "wild stories", $85M for Obama's two terms. $120 M in one year under Trump. The secret service will receive funding one way or the other, the point is the in unprecedented amount. Yes congress can increase spending I am sure they will, so what do you think about this amount of spending.
I'm sure he and his family will suspend vacations and personal business travel so that they don't bust the budget, right?
Suspend everyone's protection detail except for Trump himself and his wife. The rest of that slimy family has enough money to hire security if they think they need it. If kidnspped, don't return.

Our government has budgets for every expenditure. Trump has exceeded the limits for his travel. He goes to Mar a Largo every weekend in the winter and his golf course in New Jersey every weekend in the summer. Now it's up to congress to increase the budget for the secret service in order for them to get paid....and guess who pays for this....WE DO. But does Trump, the billionaire, even care....of course not.
