We who? The majority of Americans won't be joining your cheerleading squad. I always love how people who know nothing relevant, speak with such certainty that nothing will be found. You're putting the cart before the jackass you've hitched it to.
Trump was a con-artist for decades. His inherited fortune allowed him to scam others, often with impunity, because they couldn't go up against his name and money. (You may find that admirable.)
Just because low ethics voters selected an unethical rich guy president, didn't suddenly erase or wash away all his past malfeasance nor did it rehab his character. He just has more enablers and a bigger fan club of gullible, motley zealots.
So, wouldn't it be great if all his many years of shenanigans caught up with him in this instance? I bet the decent people he has done to over all those years might think so. Your boy has never had clean hands and few who actually knew him supported him. We won't know till we know. But, wouldn't it be grand?

Just imagine people like the OP, sticking by Trump, if he's made to answer for all those misdeeds. They will distance themselves from him and spend the rest of their days, denying they ever gave him any support. There will be fewer who will continue to identify as Trumpists, than there are honest politicians. It will be like one of those corporations about to go broke, but that solicits new investments right up to the last minute, crowing all the while, about the great future the company has.
