I do not know what to make of it. It does appear that the twitter account is that of the Junior Senator from Cana... I mean, Texas, for it has the little star meaning it has been verified as belonging to him.
However, while I do not care for Senator Cruz, I have never for one moment thought of him as being stupid. To view porn via twitter, and to 'like' the page you are viewing, simply seems the act of a stupid person (if one wishes to hide one's viewing preferences, that is). He is not stupid.
As such, I shall operate under the presumption that his account was hacked.

Nah, you can like something on twitter by mistake pretty easily. You can even do it while scrolling if your finger hits the wrong place. He might have been just looking at porn and didn't realize he hit the little heart thingy.
I don't care at all if Ted Cruz likes his Twitter porn but I have to say the internet is cracking me the hell up this morning. Web shenanigans are the best.
