You would have to ask the media outlet that thought interviewing a white guy in his 60s with no connection to the school made sense. What was the purpose of letting a random elderly white vet criticize the black family on air?

Eh, the pledge of allegiance needs to go away. I certainly pledge allegiance to no body nor entity. I don't know why anyone would. It's a relic of the nationalistic years of the past. Bury it.

What does loving the country have to do with the pledge of allegiance?

I am very pro American....but saying the pledge of Allegiance before class or singing the national anthem before sporting events is totally unnecessary.
