Remember that in June the Puerto Ricans honored a PR nationalist terrorist at their big parade. They obviously don't cherish America so the answer is no they are not real Americans.
I am disappointed in the response to Puerto Rico. Iḿ hoping since this one was a direct hit and not a grazing the response will be more. Weĺl see. It seems the media is more fascinated with the earthquake in Mexico so far.
It just happened and Maria is still churning between the mainland and PR.
Beyond their obvious citizenship, do you consider Puerto Ricans legitimately American? I ask because the response to hurricanes hitting Puerto Rico is markedly different from the response when they hit the lower 48.

Your citizenship does not depend on who you chose to honor. In fact isn't one of the things people are always yelping about.
what the heck does "cherish" america mean?? the KKK claims that's the reason why they commit all their atrocities. no one is saying they aren't "real" Americans???
