You act as though we think Trump is our "Leader." No, he's the President of the United States and the leader of the "free world." He's not a King, but you seem to think that's how we view him.

Many on the Left, though, thought of Obama as King, and let him get away with egregious violations of the Constitution while they praised him for it. Two examples stand out: The Paris Climate deal and the "Iran deal" Both totally unconstitutional and made illegally, because the President has no authority to make "deals" apart from Congress, and that are not made pursuant to the Constitution. Any such "deal" is unlawful and therefore invalid.

We are an independent sovereign nation. Our Constitution declares that it is the Supreme Law of the Land, and requires that all treaties made are made pursuant to it. The Framers wrote in the Federalist Papers that no treaties are higher than the Constitution, and that if any such treaty were ever made, it would be illegal and invalid. Thus, both the Paris Accord (never agreed to by Congress) and the "Iran deal" (also never agreed to by Congress) are illegal and invalid.

But "King" Obama did as he pleased, and you all said nothing.

And by the way, the President, according to the Constitution, is elected by the States (not the people as a nation; i.e., popular vote) because he represents The United States to the world, for purposes of war, peace negotiations and foreign commerce. That is his primary role, and to see that the Laws (of the United States) are "faithfully executed;" i.e., immigration laws (no sanctuary cities).

Obama compared his presidency to basketball and was obsessed with all things basketball.

"Barack Obama welcomed America’s all-conquering basketball champions into the oval office on Thursday and suggested the experiences of a US president and NBA stars are not so different."

An obsessed obama politicized sports, having no other experience on which to base his presidency.

Kap has no job because he sucks as a quarterback.

If it were just because of his twisted politics, (pig socks, loving Castro, Black Oppression ... yeah right) then this guy (below) would be out on his *****!

You've struck on a good point. Whenever Trump is having a bad week (and he's been having a lot of them lately) he's going to lash out on something to stoke up his base and . Yep, wave the flag and accuse others of not being patriotic.

As Samuel Johnson said, [false] patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Trump has proven he can play the public easily, which has proven how easily the public can be played. He'll keep doing it because the people who elected him want him to. That's the only reason he said anything about the NFL, people were sick of it but don't have a way to let the NFL know so Trump did it for them.

And as evidence by the responses on this thread it worked like a charm. This is a cult combined with a reality show.
