Crickets. Curious why this incident is being ignored? Is it because the victims were in church? Because the shooter is a 26 year old AA man?
it is because right wingers are afraid it will turn out to be another right wing nut job, and thus are playing it down.
if it turns out to be a right wing extremist again they will flood the thread with nonsense and will post a hundred pointless new threads to try to bury it..
C'mon, tell me you weren't salivating for it to be some redneck wearing a MAGA cap.
That's exactly right. Back when the DC sniper was running around, everybody where I worked was saying it was probably some redneck pissed at the world, lost his job, etc. etc. etc. Once they learned who it really was behind the shootings, it turned into: the "man" set the stage, the shooters were simply "playing the part".
Was the attack racially motivated especially since the active shooter was a black male who killed whites?
The black people at the Church didn't think it was racially motivated. There are pictures of them crying at the Church and one 10 year old Black church goer was injured while barricading a door.
I didn't know nor do I care the race of the shooter. Seems like you do.
As I stated before, Americans are desensitized with this level of violence, and being that one person was killed doesn't really surprise me that it's not gaining that much attention.
They weren't "desensitized" when it was Dylan Roof. Now, suddenly, they're all "desensitized". Sure.
This guy is unbelievably self-absorbed and arrogant, all he posted about was himself and how fit and amazing he is. That will probably not be seen as an issue since so many people use social media for attention, but Elliot Rodger had a similar very conceited attitude online and posted about how great he was. When they believe these things and have a place to celebrate it and get attention, they lose it when things don't go their way.
When I started this thread, the races of the victims shot in this little church and the race of the shooter were unknown.
There were White and Black victims. Now that we know the shooter wasn't a Muslim, what now?
