Again, is this terrorism? What proof do you have? Terrorism essentially means there was political motive. Otherwise he is just a psychotic mas murderer. Watering down terrorism isn't a good idea.

You need to step away from the keyboard. Your arguments have become ludicrous.
Criminals always get their guns for law abiding citizens (or stores). Be it through robbery, second hand sales or straw purchases.

If you have easy access to guns, criminals will have easy access to guns

If you don't have easy access to guns neither would criminals. They need you in order to get weapons since they can't purchase it from the manufactures themselves.

Case studies: Australia, Germany, UK, Japan, etc.

Are you out of your mind? Who is making any excuses for this guy? Not one goddamn person in this thread has made excuses for that guy. Get a grip.

You think mental health counseling would have stopped this guy?

He had 10 rifles and loads of ammunition with him. Maybe someone stocking up on automatic assault rifles should be questioned just a bit? Nevada has very liberal gun laws.

He also apparently had big gambling debts.

So what now? Metal detectors before entering hotels? Bag scanners before being allowed into the elevators? How comfortable are you knowing the guy in the next hotel room may have an arsenal with him?

Well CD'ers berating the British recently to do something about knife violence, are satisfied doing nothing about mass murder in the USA. After the condolences and prayers, things will be back to routine until the next shooting.

By that same token, we should outlaw abortion ... because some women might abuse it.
We should actually just outlaw childbirth, because some people abuse their children.
We should outlaw cars, because some people might crash them.
We should outlaw food, because some people eat too much.

See where I'm going here? You want to live in a world in which the asylum is run by the insane.

Thanks. It's important that we include links to more than FB. The article you linked to notes that she has been ruled out as being involved in the shooting. The lead FBI investigator said the same thing in the last news conference.

I'm sure they're interested in talking to her, though, as she may have information about his recent mental state.

As for her being involved in political groups, as some here are speculating on, it doesn't sound like it.

In another article (from the UK), it's noted that she was born in the Philipines, married an australian citizen, but has been living in the U.S. for at least 20 years, working as a casino worker.

Gunman's girlfriend Marilou Danley is not a suspect | Daily Mail Online

No mention of any involvement with political organizations or political protests, either in Australia, the Philippines, or here in the U.S.

Sounds like a dead-end for trying to link Paddock to having political ties in Australia.
