As to having an extra $600/year. Surely, you jest.
So American women are too poor to pay $50 or LESS a month for contraceptives and that is why everyone else needs to chip in and pay ?

What were they doing before 2012 then ?

Then why do they force you to save for your old age? Isn't it careless to not do so on your own.

With all the outrage, the truth is they had a freebee and didn't want to give it up.

We're talking about health insurance here. You chip in to pay for her contraceptives. She chips in to pay for your prostate exam. It's how insurance works. Look it up.

Women who did not have health insurance that covered contraceptives had the option of Planned Parenthood. In case you haven't heard, PPP is under attack as well.

As to less than $50 month, you are not including the doctor visits that is required to get the prescription and to monitor side effects such as blood clots, etc. which is why we are told contraceptives are not available over the counter.

People wanted government to take over health insurance.
So the government did.

Now the government gets to call the shots. And people should know that their party won't be in power forever.

This is the price you pay for handing over what was your choice to the government.
The government will now make the choice for you.

And this is why so many don't want the government involved in "our stuff"..because the government you love today WILL CHANGE and so will the rules.

Colorado had a six year project in which long-acting birth control was available for free.

40% fewer unplanned births in young mothers.

40% fewer abortions.

It was actually slightly higher in each case. Does anyone know if Colorado is continuing this?

Before the government stepped in people could pay premiums for years and then have their health insurance terminated if they had cancer.

Want to go back to those days?

This is not "the government doing this."

This is Trump.

Trump apparently has a pen and a phone too.
Does anyone seriously take CNN seriously anymore?? They have been so insanely one-sided, biased and corrupt in their news reporting that most of us have simply written them off.

Since ACA though I'm chipping in a hell of a lot more...$400 a month more and I'm not exactly happy about that.

I lost my good high deductible, low premium insurance because of ACA.
