Please include a source/link for both of your assertions above.

There are news stories that say some people OUTSIDE of the Mueller camp would need to have knowledge of the indictment steps, such as staff involved in negotiations with attorneys for turning in their client into custody and making arrangements for taking the person into custody.

Basically people that will be directly involved in the handover and related logistics. There are likely many officers and security people as well as admin staff involved in planning the handover.

It's possible that people with knowledge of the handover/arrest planning leaked about the existence of an indictment. They had to plan for getting the person(whoever it is) safely into custody without making a sideshow of the situation and keep the person being arrested protected, in order to ensure the person is safely taken into custody and their rights have not been infringed upon.

I'll bet there are a few dozen staff involved in planning the handover and taking the person into custody and these staff are not part of the Mueller team. They might be federal officers and federal admin staff involved in arrests and booking and possibly some local police involved too if extra backup is needed for blocking off streets.

They likely have one team ready to negotiate the handover where the perp turns himself in with their attorney by their side. There likely is another set of federal staff/police/agents that are ready to get the perp and forcefully take them into custody if necessary. They likely are planning their activities as well, to ensure nothing goes wrong if they have to execute their plan.

These people would be outside of the Mueller camp but they have a 'need to know' so they can properly execute their plans to get the person into custody.
There has been a concerted effort on the part of the GOP, the GOP media outlets and the WH to smear and weaken Mueller. Wall Street is salivating over tax cuts and does not want anything to distract or derail.

This leak could have come from anyone trying to make it look like a Mueller associate did it. It could also be someone on the the defense team. Mueller and his team have been tightlipped and have nothing to gain by leaking now.

Trump definitely wants to fire him and is trying to make it so he can do that. But it would be all out war at that point.

It's likely to stall any hope the GOP had to give tax cuts to billionaires and raise the US Debt/Deficit.

He's scared.

Twitter. Right from the Orange Clown's stubby little finger tips.

Unless, of course, an intern got ahold of his twitter account again. Wink, Wink.

If you get your news from other progressives or blogs like this. I don’t believe Trump will ever be removed from office sans election.

No one thinks that.

I am fine with the facts coming out no matter what happens. Seems like you want Trump punished no matter what and the truth is not important.

Hard to see where impeachment would be in the best interests of Democrats.

The nation is taking a hit. No doubt about that. Even Rs are pointing that out.

But why spend any energy trying to get rid of the best thing to come along for Democrats in a long time?
