We don’t know each other’s political affiliations here but if you are arguing for/against a party or take a side, then we are going to assume that you are from that party.
Schumer and those liberal Judges Watson and Chuang and both parties all have blood on their hands for blocking President Trump's immigration and deportation policies.
President Trump, cut-off any federal monies to any sanctuary cities. You can do this .
I just want to know from the left, why do you feel we need to import people who hate us from other countries, and that do not have any intention on assimilating into our culture? Why do you welcome these people with open arms?

It is simple. If you were listening to anyone other than Trump and Fox News you would know what the argument is....
All Muslims are not terrorists. All brown people are not terrorists. All people from Muslim countries are not terrorists. Just as all white men are not terrorists, and all white men are not racists. You guys want to lump every single Muslim into one category, and just as facts have shown, you can't do that without looking like an idiot.
Look at the post made a few pages back, and you will see just how many "home grown terrorists" we have as well. They don't all come from other countries, or even Muslim countries. The Boston bombers and this guy were not from these Muslim countries Trump is trying to ban either.
The grander point, is that there is no way to stop terrorists attacks from happening. Sure, you can ban brown people and claim the country is safer because of it, but you would be wrong.
Now, if you want to argue that we should do more here at home to stop these radicals from doing things like this, then we would be in agreement. As someone said earlier, his Mosque was being watched by the NYPD, so obviously there is something more that could have been done. A travel ban wouldn't stop the radicalization going on right here in the US though. To think otherwise is very naĂŻve.

thousands of people were "imported" under BUSH both before and after 911. thus you are busted.
The immigration bill that includes the visa lottery passed the Senate on an 89-8 vote. It was BIPARTISAN. Blaming this bill only on Schumer or the Democrats is a LIE. Ted Kennedy was the original sponsor.
McConnell voted for the bill. George HW Bush signed it.
The Republicans are just as much to blame for the visa lottery as the Democrats were.

Well, you can lead a Cultist to knowledge, but you can't make him think.
It's not a matter of belief. The fact is that Trump's policies would have prevented this attack and Schumer and the "judges" who stopped his policies allowed the attack to go forward.
Democrat immigration policy is based on principles of the constitution and freedom. And you are correct if a Trump-like immigration policy was in effect in 2010 this terrorist would never have gotten into America.
But republicans also have policies based on principles of the constitution and freedom, and these republican policies also kill Americans.
Democrats have tried to ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines. And if republicans would have not blocked those policies shooting like Sandy Hook and the recent Las Vegas shooting would not have happened.
And like the republicans say "guns don't kill people, people kill people" (mentally ill and insane people use guns to kill people.)
And like the democrats would say "Muslims don't kill people" (brainwashed and insane Muslims kill people.)
Instead of pointing fingers and blaming sides in these political battles that go on year after year, shouldn't we instead have a conversation about the root cause of these problems, and have conversations about the mentally ill, the insane and brainwashing?
As a democrat I would love to have a conversation about these brainwashed terrorists who target school buses in their attacks. And I believe many other democrats would also have that conversation.
And as democrats and republicans we have vastly different ideas on how to handle problems like gun violence and terrorist attacks. But both democrats and republicans don't want innocent people being shot at concerts or terrorists killing innocent people with trucks.
Its both democrats and republicans who are responsible for not talking about solutions to these problems and then negotiating a solution. And when we don't talk the mentally ill continue to kill people and the brainwashed terrorists continue to kill people.
Whats more important, standing with your political party or honestly talking about America's problems and coming up with bipartisan solutions to fix them?
