No crystal ball needed. Just need common sense. You really think terrorist attacks won’t occur in the future and that this one will be the last? Are you really that dumb and naive?
Does anyone really believe that "extreme vetting" would prevent an attack like this? The most law-abiding model immigrant today might morph into a lone wolf attacker several years later. It's impossible to predict who is going to rent a truck or not.
It doesn't matter to Trump whether or not "extreme vetting" will really work. All he cares about is scoring points with his base. He is truly a demogogue.
Especially when the POTUS and his dim-witted followers support and push anti-Muslim rhetoric.
