You do understand that background checks were performed while Obama was President. I mean, I know you think Trump is so wonderful and fantastic and awesome, but he didn't think up "background checks". While he's issued these orders, they were temporary orders while his administration was supposed to be formulating more comprehensive background checks. And what have they specifically proposed to make those background checks more thorough? Anything? Or have they just continued to fuel xenophobia?
I criticized the orders because they are hollow. They don't do anything except appeal to xenophobia. I refuse to give in to hate and fear. The principles of this country are what makes this country great, and attacks on those principles need to be challenged at every turn.

The fact that democrats came up this visa program in the first place just shows where their priorities are. They care nothing about the safety of this country but only their own asses and getting reelected. The more they get these types in the country, the more money they can dole out for free to them and keep them voting democrat.
